Sky World Limited is looking for a skilled and motivated Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Dynamics NAV Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development, customization, and maintenance of our Microsoft Dynamics solutions, focusing on Business Central/Dynamics NAV. This role requires deep technical expertise in both the platform and its integration with business processes.
Job Description
The selected candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Business Central/NAV solutions tailored to business requirements. They will oversee system customization, integrate third-party applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using AL language for Business Central and C/AL or AL for Dynamics NAV.
- Customize and extend existing functionality within the Business Central and Dynamics NAV environment.
- Develop and integrate third-party applications and services with Dynamics solutions to enhance business processes.
- Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV, including data migration, configuration, and testing.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for users.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for development and system changes.
- Optimize performance of Business Central/Dynamics NAV implementations by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Business Central/Dynamics NAV features and updates and proactively recommend enhancements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and project managers to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams, providing advice on best practices and available system capabilities
- Develop and test integrations with other systems, ensuring smooth data flow between Business Central/Dynamics NAV and external applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, eCommerce platforms).
- Conduct unit, system, and regression testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide training to internal staff and end-users on new features, custom solutions, and overall system usage.
- Develop user manuals and training materials.
- Implement and ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices to safeguard sensitive business data within the system.
- Participate in audits and support compliance efforts as required by internal or external authorities.
- Provide proactive monitoring and maintenance of the Business Central/Dynamics NAV systems, addressing issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including system crashes, data discrepancies, and user problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-4 years’ experience in Business Central/NAV development, system customization, or ERP implementation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV, AL programming, and C/AL, with familiarity in SQL Server and Power Platform being an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience in CRM or Power BI will be an added advantage.

- A Certificate in Dynamics 365 BC, CRM or Power BI will be an added advantage.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive Development Experience – Proven expertise in developing, customizing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Dynamics NAV solutions.
- Technical Awareness – Strong understanding of AL, C/AL, SQL Server, API integrations, and system architecture within Business Central/NAV.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills – Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, end-users, and cross-functional teams.
- Leadership & Mentorship – Capable of guiding and supporting less experienced developers to improve team efficiency.
